History of the Chair
Chair of “Automated Control Systems” was founded in June, 1993 by the decision of the Academic council of Kazakh Chemical Technological Institute. The decisionwas dictated by the command of time.
Fast progress of means of computing and microprocessor technics, its introduction into the management of processes of the national economy, automatedprojecting and creation of modern information systems on their base required qualified engineers-programmers, programmers-mathematicians.
New chair of “Applied mathematics and software” was founded in 1998 by the merge of “Applied and computing mathematics” and “Automated systems and computing machines” chairs.
Since 2006, name of the chair is “Computing Systems and Software”.
There is professional training of the following specialities at the chair of “Computing Systems and Software”
5В070400 – Computing Systems and Software
Training time: 4 years
Qualification: Bachelor of Computing Systems and Software
6M070400 – Computing Systems and Software
